Voting for the Public InterestThe Maryland Public Assembly provides a focus for the public interest in the political process in Maryland; to endorse and support public interest candidates in a wide range of elections throughout the state. The Assembly is non-partisan and open to all Maryland citizens of voting age, without regard to political party or affiliation. We aims to provide guidance and voter information on issues and candidates on a non-partisan basis on behalf of the broadest possible consensus of agreement among the members. The Assembly is organized with rules and procedures to assure the most open and fair endorsements of candidates for public office throughout the state.
